I want to open a checking account, only have SSN and greencard?

How can I do this online? Which bank will let me do this? I don't have a state ID or drivers license.


Answer:Unfortunately, you can't apply for a checking account unless you are a US citizen. This is because banks want to to avoid any potential international illegal activities, improper tax implications or money laundering where people can't be pursued.
